This post has been a long time coming! But it’s finally here- stick with me as I’ll be chatting about my faves and then announcing a little comp to win them all! It’s rare I get to a London Event but when I was down there on work I managed to squeeze in two evening occasions before heading back up the A1. The second of them was the launch of EcoTools 2017 collection. I’d never been a massive fan of the brand before , I’d had a couple of their brushes from various beauty boxes and things but they’d never really wowed me so I was interested to see the changes they’d made to their products and the new collections to see if I could be converted.

The brushes really have had a fab makeover and gone is the bronze metal and oak coloured handles . A lovely lighter wood handle with a silver coloured hardware has been introduced making them look so much fresher.

I immediately gravitated towards the fluffiest brush I could see, the Full Powder Brush (£8.99)*and did the back of the hand test- and it was SO SOFT! I was really surprised I won’t lie , as it is one of the softest brushes I’ve felt (second to my Real Techniques Bold Metals brushes which are denser so that bit more fluffy). On the night you could choose to get a brush personalised and I was struggling to decide between the full powder or the fan brush, when I discovered the fan brush comes alongside a smaller fluffy brush so went for those instead. The Define and Highlight Duo (£11.99)*  are designed to do just that, using the Define brush to apply contour and the fan for the highlight of your life. Hands down these are my fave brushes and the fan brush is the best fan brush I’ve ever had. It picks up just the right amount of highlighter without having to rub it across the powder for ages like you do some, and it just does the job very very well.

I was also impressed with their sponge offerings, as I’ve never been a massive fan of sponges until recently but their Ecotools Ecofoam Duo (£9.99)*  are great for giving a good, even coverage. I tend to use the smaller lime green one of the Duo as it’s flat side is perfect for getting into all the corners of my face. Their mini colour perfecting sponges are also fab and help keep track of what colour correcting colours you’ve used with them. (I can only find these on the EcoTools site though so if you order remember shipping and overseas charges won’t you!)

Last on my faves list has to be the 10 year anniversary Set (£19.99)* which has six brushes and a lovely rose gold holder made from recycled aluminium to keep them all in. It’s perfect for travelling with too as it can just be thrown in your luggage.

So here’s the good news! EcoTools have given me some of my faves to give to you! So you can win the 10 Year Anniversary Set, the Ecofoam Duo Sponges and The Define and Highlight Duo worth over £40! To be in with a chance just enter the rafflecopter link below!
