So where do I start!? I’ve loved a bit of Primark makeup here and there before, I’ve praised their lipliners for being just as good as their £14 counterparts, but I’ve never really found more to interest me until now that is!

I picked up a few things on my recent trip to Primark , some lip kits (more in another post about those) , some pieces from the Bronze range :The Highlight and Glow palette and the Shadow and Shade palette plus a Precious Metals liquid eyeshadow and a Pure Glow Highlighter. I’m going to come straight out and say the Highlight and Glow palette is life. Im sure of you’re a fan of similar products you’ll know what this has been likened too (ABH Glow Kit in ‘That Glow’) with its round pans of sun-kissed shades presented in a cardboard package it’s hard to miss really. Except the Primark version has massive pans and costs £4.

I decided I’d give it a go and chatting to the girl at the till we both talked about it likeness to the ABH palette , the fact that it had only just gone on sale that day and it looked to be a bargain oh my wasn’t it just. The formula is fabulous, and it lasts on the skin too unlike some more chalky counterparts.

I’ve intensified the swatches by swiping a few times, but you can see the light pink shade Fiesta on my cheeks here too. It really gives a fab wash of highlight (I used my new Ecotools fan brush to apply it and they are the dream together!) and I can’t get enough! (Car selfie thanks to the rain!).

The eyeshadow palette on the same range is pretty darn good too. There’s a good mix of Matte and metallic shades and I love the deep turquoise pop of colour in there.

Again £4, can you really go wrong!? Great colour pay off and I can’t wait to get trying it out properly. I’m also loving their new single eyeshadows – for info on those head to Beautyqueenuk for her fab review!

The others I’m less impressed with, the liquid eyeshadow applied well but didn’t work with other things, it flaked off when my brush was working other shades alongside it. It was a lovely rose gold colour as you can see (the top of the swatches) and would probably good just to use on its own or as the last colour applied.

The other highlighter which is £3 has been compared to some other high end brands, it was great but I just preferred the bronze palette for colour pay off. It’s the one in the middle of the squares here, as you can see it’s still very pretty I just think you get more for your money on the other palette!

Overall for £13 for all 4 products here you can’t go far wrong really! I’m debating going and getting another highlight and Glow palette for when this one runs out. Have you ever tried Primark Beauty before? Let me know your faves in the comments.
