If you’re looking for a way to rock the metallic trend this season, then I’ve found the perfect thing. And it’s Rose Gold. Bloggers dream or what?
Evans gave me the choice of picking a couple of things from the New In section and when I saw this Pink Foil Frill Top (£30)*  I HAD to have it. It’s a lovely nudey/blush pink colour with metallic threads weaving through it, which catch in the light, and give it that familiar Rose Gold feel.

I took outfit shots of this last week and posted a quick preview on Instagram, I then decided to wear the top to work the next day as I loved it that much, it was at that point a friend and co-worker proclaimed- your wearing something twice?! I never see that happening! This basically proved two points, one: I blooming love this top, two: it’s so versatile! It would even look fab paired with heels for a night out, there’s not many tops out there can work from desk to drinks but this is one!
I love how it fits across the bust and then flares out, as you’ll know by now I’m not a huge fan of a tight tee, so this is the perfect shape. I’m wearing a 20 here which is perfect, I’m between a 18/20 so would say it’s pretty true to size. It’s also long enough to wear with these Ponte Zip Leggings (£25)* also from Evans, although I do have a rather extensive collection of black treggings/leggings to pair it with- These ones are a shinier Ponte fabric which makes them look a bit more formal, and they are a lot tighter so don’t bag half way through the day which is a bonus. I went for an 18 in these and they are tight, so if you prefer a little more stretch then you could size up easily, or if in between sizes like me,opt for the larger size.

I paired the outfit with my Rose Gold Metallic Butterfly Twists. If you’ve not heard of these before they are the pumps that fold in half so you can stash them in your bag on a night out and pop them on when your heels have cut your feet so much your hobble rivals that of a witch.

I got these ones from Shoeaholics and I have used them once in the above way but just generally tend to wear them as normal ballet pumps. They’re some of the real leather ones they do so they are pretty breathable which I like, but it did mean they were a bit more expensive than the pleather versions (usually £60, I got them for £30) they go up to a size 9, but their 9 is a EUR 42 (so an 8 equivalent  in some brands) sit hey just fit me and you can see my toes on the end just- they wouldn’t pass the old ‘toe test’ they used to do at Clarks when I was little! I think once they’ve stretched a little they will be perfect though so am persevering somewhat! Let me know in the comments  what you think to this outfit, and let me know if you love the top!
