My lucky streak continued last week when I won a pair of VIP tickets to fusion festival through Hayley’s blog (check her out at Strangeness and Charm here) as you may know I looooove Labrinth (he follows me on Twitter don’t you know?! And yes, I am 33) but couldn’t afford to go see him at the festival so was made up when I won tickets! I dragged along Mr E who loves Lab but wasn’t too sure about the other acts. We couldn’t leave first thing as we had to do boring life bits but got there just in time for MNEK, who I love! I must say I did think it looked like he was wearing swim shorts but I loved his t shirt so I let him off! He sounded blooming amazing too! We also got to see Clean Bandit, Sigma and of course Lab.

My fave was Lab who was on form but I did enjoy MNEK and Sigma. Clean Bandit were good but I think they needed a few more recognisable songs to get the crowd going. The weather was fab too so we spent Ella Henderson’s set just sunbathing and having a drink and some candy floss. She sounded great from where we were but just not my kind of music really, so we didn’t go to watch her.

Ella actually came out to meet some fans in VIP which I thought was lovely, as did Becky Hill and MO who we had missed earlier (which I was gutted about as I like their music and followed them from their early days! We didn’t stay for Rudimental who were the headline act , we’ve seen them before and just didn’t enjoy them so much, although I know a lot of people rate them live they’re just not for me. Overall I enjoyed the day festival, I bet Ed Sheeran and Tinie were great the night before too. It was a perfect size venue really, we were only 2 people deep from the front in the ‘golden circle’ which was the VIP standing area and it wasn’t too crushed or busy at all. I’d definitely go back next year if the right acts were there.

Music talk over – what did I wear I hear you ask! Well, I had 4 days to decide and didnt use any of that time, and decided in the morning!

I pulled my River Island V-neck Embellished Cami Top in khaki and wore it with a h&m snakeskin bikini top underneath which you can just see the cross bank of underneath the cami straps. I added some new River Island Treggings that I bought in the sale for £12.50 and ALDO snakeskin lace up sandals

My new Warehouse Necklace (£22) and Quay My Girl sunglasses finished off the look. For cover up a little when it got colder I took along my long crochet cardigan from warehouse . It was a perfect comfy sunbathing dancing outfit for the occasion!

For my nails… I wore these WAH nails marble zone false nails. I couldn’t do a thing with them on BUT THEY LOOK AMAZING.

I got mine from  WAH London but you can also get them from Boots. They’re £9 for the set which I think is fab considering how lush they are. I’m thinking about wearing them for the Ladbrokes Ladies day next week too as I won’t need to do much that day hopefully.

Overall we had a fab day so thanks again to Hayley and 4 Music for running the competition!  Let me know what you think to the outfit, nails or my thoughts on the music below!
