Whaaaaat?! Another beauty box I hear you cry! Well just wait a sec and let me show you how fab this one is and how it attempts to keep its head above what’s becoming a very crowded beauty box market.
it all started on the last bank holiday when I received an email from Love Me Beauty highlighting that they had Full Size Nails Inc Gel Effect Polishes available to select as part of their box and it was too tempting not to investigate so off to the site I went, how could I not?!
I quickly discovered how the Love Me Beauty Box works:
When you sign up you get 5 credits to spend for that months box. You then fill in a quick survey to determine your preferences when it comes to make up and skin care. You then see recommendations to spend your credits on, or you can view the whole selection available if you want and choose away to build your own box.
I also got 2 extra credits via a referral code and there was an offer of a little make up bag which replaces the usual drawstring bag in the box at that time too. And there’s often offers on… Look out for a discount code at the end!
The offerings in the shop change quite regularly I’ve noticed which means there’s usually a varied choice , for instance there’s different shades of polish on there now, which weren’t there before and some new lipsticks too.
After this months very disappointing Birchbox I’m glad to have the choice of what I want, over things I don’t need. I don’t know if there’s an optimum time to subscribe to The Love Me Beauty Box so you get the best offerings, so it may be one to watch. Timings are the biggest difference between this and the You beauty box where everyone sets their alarms at stupid o clock in the first of the month so they get to choose the best 2 samples for their box. I like that this one is more spread out so not everyone is rushing at once.

A £13.95 subscription later (includes postage at £3.95) and I was done, not bad for over £54 worth of products, plus my extras!
When it arrived I was very happy , the box size is good and is of a good quality, I’m going to use it in my lounge as it matches the decor in there. Inside was all the items in the little bag. The serum has been of massive use during my most recent breakout and I’m loving it! The lip trio is cute even if a little autumnal. The nail polishes are just too great as you know I’m a big Nails Inc fan and the body wash was to use my points up!
Overall I’m enjoying the format of the box and am looking forward to the 22nd when my next credits drop in. Having not kept a watchful eye on this I can’t tell if I’ll get bored of the selections which is my only fear and potential downside that I can see so I’m sticking with this one for a while especially if they keep asking some Nails Inc Goodies in there!
